The Dutch artist Peter Nieuwendijk (born in Amsterdam, 1946) is an autodidact.
His work is in possession of private collectors, musea, galleries and various art promotion institutes.
Nieuwendijk exposes from 1965.
His artwork was shown in Denmark, Germany, France, Turkey, Belgium, Canada, USA. Also in the Netherlands his colorful work was dominantly present in solo- and group exhibitions (in the Hague, Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Alkmaar, Lisse, Hillegom, Ouderkerk, Heerhugowaard, Eindhoven, Schagen, Bergen, Rotterdam, Hoofddorp)
As cartoonist he participated in more than 50 different cartoon festivals
all over the world
